Songs of Joy

Hmm. I have neglected this for a few weeks. As Finals week and the holidays approach, I will attempt to restrict my posts to smaller topics.

For now, here are the lyrics to one of my favorite Christmas songs. Not a "carol", per se, because it's not been around very long - although, "Love is Come" is sung to the tune of "Bring a Torch Jeannete, Isabella."

Love is Come/Come and Behold Him medley

Love is born, come share in the wonder;
Love is God now asleep in the hay.
See the glow in the eyes of His mother,
What is the name her heart is saying?
Love, love - love is the name she whispers,
Love, Love - Jesus, Emmanuel!

------------

Come and behold Him, come see His glory;
Come with an honest heart to see all He is.
We will discover all of His beauty,
His Light will burn away all the darkness we've known.

Come and behold Him! Come and behold Him -
Come with an honest heart to see all He is.
Come and behold Him! Lay down before Him;
Come with an honest heart to see all He is!

------------

Love is come, a light in the darkness;
Love explodes in the Bethlehem skies.
See, all Heaven has come to proclaim it,
Hear how their song of Joy arises -
"Love, Love, Born unto you a Savior!
Love, Love, Glory to God on High!"

Come and behold Him! Glory to God!

Ah. Beautiful lyrics, describing a beautiful message.
I may post again during Christmas, I may not. Until next time...

God bless us, everyone!
